We have both been working with driving horses for over 30 years. The love that we share of the gentle giants played a part in building our lives together. We have two daughters, Sierra who trains riding and driving horses in Nebraska while going to collage. And Cambria, who is a writer (one book published by the time she was 15 and three in the works!) and is going to collage full time while volunteering at the Conrad Mansion. Since both our two legged kids are grown and moved away from home, Raising our “kids” now consist of our four legged animals, who, sometimes are as much fun as teenagers!

We are both experienced in Breeding, training, showing and working draft and saddle horses.
John was born and raised in Marion, Mt where we still live. he has worked the agricultural end of driving horses using feed teams on the family operated ranch since he was a small child. He has always had a love for the draft horses, antique wagons , carriages and horse drawn farm equipment. He loves to restore the antique vehicles bringing back the feel of yesteryear when horses were used daily to get the job done.
John has been lucky enough to have spent time with many “old timers” learning how to drive multiple hitches. He was driving a four horse hitch by the time he 15.
By trade, John restores antique airplanes. He uses the same quality of craftsmanship on mantaining all of our horse drawn equipment as he does on the airplanes he restores giving the assurance of safe, quality maintained equipment. He is a member of the Northwest Antique Power Association helping share the history and memories of Steam and horse drawn equipment.
Kate has worked with horses all her life teaching English, jumping, western and driving lessons. Her love of the draft horses began as a child helping with hayrides at a stable in California. She has raised Clydesdale’s since she was in her early 20′s. Kate showed draft horses for years before training a nd showing a four horse hitch of Clydesdale’s that was used for advertising for a company that owned membership camp grounds though out the United States. She left there to take a job with the Budweiser Clydesdale’s stationed out of Sea World in San Diego, CA. After leaving the Budweiser Hitch, Kate became a full time stallion /mare manager and helped her daughter, Sierra, train Clydesdale’s for a Six horse hitch that Sierra showed on the west coast.
Together we have used our horses for weddings, parties, special advertising for companies, parades, home coming games, hayrides and sleigh rides. We specialize in grand entrances either formal or with a western themed. We love to share the horses with the public and enjoy the stories and the pictures that customers have shared with with us about how special the horses have made their event. We look forward to meeting you and helping to make your event a special memory
